Border Express needed to move out of one of their buildings in the Sydney depot to another building they were already occupying in Wetherill Park. Levanta was chosen to assist Border Express in re-establishing the workshop in the new designated area while seeking to provide efficiency gains on their previous setup through a workshop fitout.
Key Project Components:
- KAR250 Dual 25T OMER Knuckle Lift: This heavy-duty lift was necessary to accommodate their b-double trailer sets. Due to the low clearance on their tautliner trailers, longer approach ramps were designed for smooth entry and exit.
- 4 x LM65W LiftMax Column Lifts: These were utilized for lifting prime movers and rigid trucks, enhancing the versatility of their maintenance operations.
- Trailer Lifting Beam: This allowed for the lifting of prime mover trailers using the LiftMax Columns, further streamlining their workflow.
- Oil, Grease, and Compressed Air Delivery System: The installation included double-skin storage tanks, dispense gantries, pumps, reels, and guns, ensuring efficient and safe handling of lubricants and compressed air.
