Product Features

Plug & play

After digging and concreting the foundation, installation is simply a matter of connecting the underground cable to the control cabinet. The low construction depth of Levanta’s in-ground truck and bus lifts reduces costs considerably compared to oversized traditional in-ground lifts. The watertight self-supporting steel cassette ensures structural integrity when installing.

Easy connection

The cable is connected to the control panel and the in-ground lift is then fully operational from a safe distance.

Touch screen control

User friendly remote control offers information about the operation of the lift, ram positions, and safety & maintenance.

Lifting, lowering and positioning is easily controlled by the remote control. The lifting rams can be used either one by one or synchronised.

Safety & stability

Square lifting rams ensure maximum stability. Two independent hydraulic circuits in each lifting ram offer optimum safety, since one circuit will hold the entire load if necessary.

The hydraulic circuits are fully protected inside the lifting rams. In case of power failure lowering is still possible by connecting a 24V battery.

CE-marked: comply with European Standard EN 1493

Adjustable Working Heights

Lifting height can be adjusted to suit any possible lifting job. The cross beams can be stored at floor level in full pit length.

In-ground lifts are particularly suitable for workshops servicing many different heavy vehicles.

Robust Rolling Cover with 7t Drive Over Capacity

Robust rolling cover made in non-slip aluminium profiles provides a nice and level workshop floor.

The cross beams and rolling cover are always level with the workshop floor in the full pit length no matter the position of the cross beams.

The cassette is designed with pump sump to absorb oil and water.

FAQ

In-Ground Truck & Bus Lifts Hoists are equipped with a comprehensive range of safety features that prioritise the safety and well-being of workshop personnel and protection of heavy vehicles being lifted.

To ensure maximum stability, these lifts are designed with square lifting rams, which provide a sturdy and reliable foundation during lifting operations. Furthermore, the lifting rams boast two independent hydraulic circuits each, guaranteeing optimum safety. In the event of any hydraulic circuit failure, the other circuit will securely hold the entire load, preventing any sudden drops or accidents.

Safety is further reinforced as the hydraulic circuits are fully protected inside the lifting rams, safeguarding them from potential external damages. In situations where power failure may occur, the lifts offer a fail-safe mechanism by allowing lowering to still take place. By simply connecting a 24V battery, the descent of the lifted vehicle can be safely controlled.

Additionally, these In-Ground Truck & Bus Lifts Hoists proudly bear the CE-mark, indicating their compliance with the stringent European Standard EN 1493. This not only highlights their adherence to international safety standards but also underscores their design registration and engineer approval, ensuring they meet the safety requirements of both AU/NZ regulations.

One of the standout safety features of these lifts is the inclusion of a wireless remote control. This cutting-edge technology allows the operator to move around the vehicle safely and freely during the lifting process. With the freedom to position themselves at a safe distance, the operator can maintain better visibility and control during the entire operation.

Moreover, the wireless remote control incorporates automated safety features, enhancing the overall safety of the lifting process. It keeps the operator informed about critical maintenance updates, ensuring that the lift remains in optimal working condition, thus minimising any potential risks or hazards.

With these top-of-the-line safety features, In-Ground Truck & Bus Lifts offer a secure and dependable solution for lifting heavy vehicles, providing operators with confidence and peace of mind throughout their tasks.

In-ground truck and bus lifts offer several advantages compared to normal heavy vehicle lifts (above-ground lifts). Here are some of the key advantages:

  1. Space Efficiency: In-ground lifts are installed below the workshop floor, which means they do not occupy any floor space when not in use. This maximises the usable space in the workshop, allowing for better organisation and more room to maneuver vehicles and equipment.
  2. Aesthetics: In-ground lifts have a sleek and unobtrusive design since the lifting components are concealed underground when not in use. This contributes to a cleaner and more professional appearance in the workshop, providing a high-end showroom feel.
  3. Improved Accessibility: In-ground lifts offer easy and unrestricted access to the vehicle’s underside. Technicians can move freely around the vehicle without any obstruction, facilitating efficient and accurate maintenance and repairs.
  4. Stability and Safety: In-ground lifts are known for their stability due to the square lifting rams and the two independent hydraulic circuits in each lifting ram. This design ensures maximum stability during lifting operations and provides added safety by holding the entire load even if one hydraulic circuit fails.
  5. Reduced Tripping Hazards: With no above-ground lifting components, in-ground lifts eliminate tripping hazards for workshop personnel, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
  6. Vehicle Weight Capacity: In-ground lifts can handle heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and buses, with ease. Their robust construction and hydraulic systems make them ideal for lifting substantial loads safely.
  7. Noise Reduction: In-ground lifts tend to be quieter during operation compared to some above-ground lifts, contributing to a more pleasant working environment in the workshop.
  8. Compliance and Certification: Reputable in-ground lift manufacturers ensure their products are CE-marked and comply with relevant safety standards, offering peace of mind to workshop owners and operators that they meet industry regulations.
  9. Longevity: Properly installed and maintained in-ground lifts can have a longer service life compared to some above-ground lifts, making them a durable and reliable investment.

Overall, in-ground truck and bus lifts present a modern and efficient solution for heavy vehicle lifting, combining space-saving benefits, enhanced safety features, and a professional workshop appearance. Their advantages make them a popular choice for workshops and maintenance facilities seeking to optimise their operations and ensure a safe and productive work environment.
