Using an existing bay plan, we worked hard and fast with our client to assist with advice on workflow efficiency and placement. Utilising our supply and installation experience, we quickly and efficiently delivered a complete workshop fit out that ticked all the boxes.
Project Challenge
Levanta was asked to provide a solution for the testing of Brake and Suspension components on the fleet of TransDev buses being deployed for 3 existing sites with new bus routes being operated by TransDev. The projects had to be completed in 2 stages and were on very tight time frames whilst having minimal impact on the workflow in the workshops.
Our Solution
Utilising our comprehensive workshop fit out expertise, we worked closely with the customer to advise them of the best positioning of the equipment, as well as providing full project management services for the installation of three sites in the Melbourne area.
The project included:
- 3 x BM Roller Brake Testers (1 per site)
- 3 x Wheel Play Detectors to 3 sites (1 per site)
- Design extension to workshop pit to one site to cater for Wheel Play Detectors
- Engage and manage civil contractors to successful completion of works
