Expanding a site to accommodate a full maintenance facility is a big task, that’s why Tait Auto Group enlisted the help of Levanta. With our experience in workshop fit outs across Australia, from refurbishing to brand new, we developed a strategy that would incorporate their existing equipment for relocation, while delivering their new maintenance facility, without major disruptions to the business.
Project Challenge
West Point Star, a high profile Mercedes Dealership in WA, needed a complete workshop fit out for their new service centre. The site was a brand new development that had limitations on space and access. Levanta was asked to provide input on the most efficient layout on equipment and to deliver the project on tight timelines and with a clean style befitting a prestige dealership.
Our Solution
Our WA team worked closely with the customer and our Project department to develop a suitable solution to fit the specific needs of the site. We scoped the equipment and proposed very detailed designs. Due to the very precise fit and finish requirements, we kept West Point Star heavily involved through every step of the installation, to ensure we not only met but exceeded their expectations.
The complete workshop fit out included:
- 4 x BendPak two post Asymmetric 4.5t clear floor hoists.
- BendPak two post 5.4 t hoist for servicing vans.
- BendPak four-post 6.3t wheel alignment hoist.
- 3 x Werther above ground 3.6t low profile scissor lifts.
- Exhaust Extraction system.
- Waste oil drainers.
- Fully reticulated oil delivery system connected to hose reels shared between service bays.
- Bulk oil tanks.
- Compressed air system with compressor package.
- 1 x Galvanised 3.6t Werther recessed Scissor lift in wash bay.
